Finding Purpose

purpose
When struggling with depression, it is often difficult to breathe, to function, to even exist. But if there is anything I have learned about depression at all since I was a 13 year old girl it’s that tomorrow is a new day…nothing stays the same, except GOD! We can choose to live the “ho, hum life” literally just rolling with the punches, or burying our heads under the covers wishing for a different life, a better life. OR…we can choose to do something about it – we can choose on the good days to do something that will improve our mindset, improve our emotional stability, seek the One that is unchanging! God has a different plan for us! He wants so much more for us than we even want for ourselves! Ephesians 3:20

If we can just trust Him, seek Him, His will, His plan, then the depression has less room to breathe within us! I challenge you to seek Him with all your heart, soul and mind and watch what He will do once we trust Him!
Romans 8:26-28 tells us, And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for good of those who love God and are called according to His purposes for them.”
You see He loves us beyond anything we can ever comprehend! So why not give Him a chance? Give Him some time each day to get to know each other…He already knows you better than you know yourself, yet He desires, He longs for a relationship with you. I promise you will never regret it!
