Healing Songs

Healing Songs

Just when you are unable to “feel” anymore, unable to think at all…songs, music, lyrics can reach that part of our inner core like none other!

Our natural inclination is to go to songs that only add to our misery. And because music can touch the inner most part of our hearts, minds, our very soul, I urge you to be very careful to the songs you play on repeat over and over again. Make certain they are feeding your mind and soul and not feeding the depression!

Below are a few that I keep nearby and have for years. These songs have been with me through the messiest parts of life! And they are the songs I was given to sing praises to God in some of my darkest hours even after my husband uttered the words that have haunted me my entire life – “I don’t love you.” Yes… I said sing praises! My friend, with God all things are possible if you trust in the One, and Only Lord God Almighty… even singing praises in your darkest of times! You are never alone as Satan would love you to believe. God, Jesus and His Spirit are right there with you every step of the way, during your darkest hours, in the midst of the unbearable pain… He is going through it with you!
